Pretty in Pink is making its Providence debut this weekend. I’m racing in pink from head to toe this weekend in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month and my fourth annual fundraising efforts for Hope Lives! The Lydia Dody Breast Cancer Foundation. Get your pink on with me, support Hope Lives! and enter to win some great prizes from my very generous product donors in the process.
Look for the Pretty in Pink table in the expo area at the Providence Cyclocross Festival from 8AM-6PM on Saturday and Sunday. As always, 100% of the proceeds from all things pink go directly to Hope Lives! My goal this year is to raise $20,000 for the Fort Collins based non-profit – and I can only do that with your support. Read on to learn how you can get involved.
TwinSix and DeFeet have supplied me with a limited number of pink tees ($22) and socks ($10). Shirts are also available to order online: women’s version/men’s version. Currently, socks are only available on-site but we may explore online sale options later this month. New this year – cowbells! We have extremely limited quantities of Pretty in Pink branded cowbells ($10). Buy all three and enjoy a package price of $40.
The on-site raffle returns this year with prizes from: Thule, Light & Motion, Oakley, Cyclocross Magazine, Modify and Skratch Labs (cookbooks). This is the first of two on-site raffles I will run this year (the second will be in Boulder next weekend with identical prizes). You can purchase a single ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20. I’ll announce raffle winners immediately following the elite men’s race on Sunday. I can ship prizes if necessary, so no need to be present to win.
Entry into either on-site raffle (Boulder/Providence) earns you entry into the raffle for the Grand Prize drawing. Specialized, SRAM and Zipp have once again teamed up to offer the raffle’s super sweet grand prize – a Specialized Crux with SRAM Red 22, Avid Shortly Ultimate canti brakes and Zipp wheels. The bike will be raffled off on October 31, 2013 in conjunction with the end of my online raffle (that goes live later this month).
Although cash is preferred, I’m able to accept credit cards or checks for both apparel and raffle tickets.
Any questions? Tweet them to me @mmcyclist and I’ll do my best to get you answers.
