G'day from NZ

Hey, hey
Well, I have finally become an official blogger thanks to Cleez and the gang at missingsaddle.com. Should be good times, this whole blogging thing. Curtis set up a nice site for me so I will do my best to keep an up-to-date blog with stories and photos, as well as who knows what other fun things Curtis will teach me how to add.

For now, I am counting down the days until Ben and I move back to the States to become US residents again. It’s been 4 and a half years since we left the US – during those years we spent 2 in Denmark and the last couple in Auckland – and it has been a great ride. Not many people come to NZ and want to leave but sometimes that job thing forces you to make tough decisions. It will be bittersweet to leave NZ but I am looking forward to another adventure in Ft Collins, CO. All I can hope, though, is that this time we won’t be moving anytime soon!! Enough of this packing and unpacking and packing again.

But, in between all the packing, closing accounts, etc we are going to Thailand while it’s easy to get there, at least a lot less travel time from here than from the US. We’ll be going to Chiangmai for some hill tribe trekking, Thai cooking classes, elephant rides, river rafting and I am sure I’ll take Ben kicking and screaming to do some bartering at the markets. Oh, I don’t want to miss an opportunity for a Thai massage either – I hear they are wicked!

Right, well, as I learn how to use this new stuff I am sure you’ll see some changes to the site – more pictures and stories of course, but hopefully fun stuff like gabcasts, videos, and more pages added to my site.

From now til then, keep groovin’…
